Harry

Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to in the world of pop music, is a British musician and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. His parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on 1st February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, along with three of his classmates, formed a musical band called White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. Though he's been interested in music, he also interested in becoming an lawyer or physiotherapist. He worked for a time part-time in a bakery in the city he lived in and hoped to assist economically at home. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a new band, One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders to win the award. They were however 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not get the win in the contest. However, Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
