Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Amy Smart, who was born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her acting debut came in 1996, when she appeared in her debut in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight, she landed a role as 'Starship Troopers' in the film Starship Troopers. The transition was difficult for Amy because she had to move from modelling into the acting profession. Models aren't regarded as the best actors, so they usually be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy did her best to get noticed and was eventually offered larger parts beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. In the course of a couple of years, Amy took the leap into bigger roles. The film she starred in was the 2005 romance film Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous by the industry for her performance throughout the previous 10 years. Amy was later a star in major films including the Crank Series alongside Jason Statham, and Shameless.
